Visual Arts classes are provided for all students in grades K-5, and are offered as an elective in grades 6-12. All classes are taught by certified visual arts teachers. BCS visual arts students compete in regional and national art competitions, have artwork featured in local media and businesses and contribute to the overall aesthetic quality of their respective schools. BCS visual arts teachers are also active members of the greater Memphis arts community, which has been recently ranked as a leading city in the world for young artists.
